  • Make a strong password

The anatomy of a strong password consists of  six or more characters; numerical character, capitalized letter/s and  any special character. It is important that your password is really secure and that no one can ever figure it out.  But, make sure that only you can remember the password.

  • Avoid using passwords that are too easy

Using your birthdate as password, your address, and even your pet’s name areis a huge no-no. Common statements such as “I love you” or even dictionary words have weak to have as your password.

  • Be wary of phishing

This is an alarming scam nowadays wherein you are enticed to click a seemingly legitimate link and enter your log-in details to a fake website.  Make sure the URL you’re entering in your browser window is the real one; this can be achieved by doing some research.

 If you forgot your StudyWide account password and need to reset it:

  1. Go to the signin page at www.studywide.com
  2. Click on “Forgot your password”?
  3. Enter the email address associated with your StudyWide account and click Send Email.

If you are signed in to your StudyWide account and want to change your password:

  1. Go to Study Room on the left panel of your StudyWide page.
  2. Click on Personal Settings.
  3. On the right part of the page, locate Change Password portion and select Change button.
  4. Enter your current password. Type in your new password and confirm it by retyping.
  5. Click Save.
